Last September, WhatsApp launched a broadcast tool called Channels. This one-way communication tool makes it easy to share updated information with multiple people. However, various individuals or organizations' channels will be closed or disabled by Meta's application if the rules are violated.

As a result, channel creators suffer from the lack of details regarding WhatsApp policies. To solve this problem, WhatsApp will introduce verification feature for closed channel creators. 

According to W.A.Beta Info, the company responsible for the development of many features of WhatsApp, the number of users of the channel crossed the 500 million mark in just seven weeks of its launch.

Due to its growing popularity, WhatsApp will provide channel creators with new security features and the ability to request the reopening of closed channels. Not only will this increase the security of the channel, but it will also enable the restarting of channels that have been closed due to inadvertent errors. 

Please note that if messages or images are posted that violate WhatsApp policies, the channel will be automatically closed. This resulted in various channels being suddenly shut down despite having millions of followers.

In addition to fans, the channel's creators are also in trouble. WhatsApp has taken a new initiative to address this issue.
