Many people use Google Maps to travel to unknown places. In many cases, Google Maps can display images or reviews of different restaurants or establishments around a travel destination. This makes it easy to find good restaurants or various venues when traveling to unfamiliar places.

However, if false information is provided on Google Maps, there is a risk of being scammed. To address this issue, Google has proactively verified the authenticity of any new information, business names, or reviews added to Google Maps.

As part of the new initiative, reviews of any establishment or restaurant on Google Maps will be verified, Google said in a blog post. This will be checked, especially if many similar comments are submitted.

Reviews found to be inaccurate or exaggerated may be removed, and the person who posted the review may be temporarily banned from adding information to Google Maps. According to Google, Google Maps discards any questionable information. This is a warning to those adding data to Google Maps.

This move has been taken to avoid anyone being deceived by Google Maps. Under the new initiative, images or information from various important locations, including police stations and prisons, cannot be added to Google Maps. In addition, Google said it is taking steps to ensure that no one can suddenly change important information.
