The Computer Emergency Response Team of India (CERT-IN) discovered multiple security vulnerabilities in two versions of the Firefox browser.

The company said cyberattacks due to these vulnerabilities could bypass a computer or smartphone's security system. Therefore, Firefox users can become victims of cyberattacks at any time if they are not careful.

They are now warning citizens of the country not to use the browser. According to Computer Emergency Response Team, the vulnerability exists in all versions of Firefox ESR 115.5.0 and earlier versions of Firefox iOS 120. By exploiting these vulnerabilities, cybercriminals can remotely collect data on user devices.

Using a newer version of Firefox may resolve this issue. To protect yourself from cyberattacks, the Computer Emergency Response Team recommends using the latest version of the Firefox browser and enabling automatic updates in your browser settings.

Additionally, the organization urges people not to click on email attachments or links sent by unknown persons or organizations.
