Recently, WhatsApp added the ability to share photos and videos in HD (High Definition) format. This feature allows users to send high-resolution images to friends on demand.

W.A. WhatsApp has started allowing posting of HD quality photos and videos in the status option, Beta Info, the company that works with WhatsApp for various features, said in a report. 

The feature is experimentally available in WhatsApp's Android beta version 2.23.26.3, WABeta Info reports. To this end, HD photo and video sharing icons have also been added to the status option in WhatsApp. 

Initially, a limited number of users will have the opportunity to test this feature. It is worth noting that the popular messaging app WhatsApp can send status messages in addition to text or audio messages.

With the introduction of this new feature, high-resolution images and videos can be posted on WhatsApp status without compressing the images. Soon this facility will be open to everyone.
