To protect Android users from unwanted or spam emails, Google has added spam detection feature in its Messages app. When this feature is enabled, the Messages app automatically scans all messages sent by others and detects spam.

This allows users to easily protect themselves from fraudulent messages. However, many people do not use the spam detection feature in messaging apps due to ignorance. Let's see how to enable this feature.

To enable spam detection, first go to the Messages app and tap your profile picture in the top right corner. On the next page, click "Message Settings" in the options that appear along with the profile name.

Then scroll down, select the "Spam protection" option, and turn on the switch next to "Enable spam protection."
