Video streaming platform YouTube has launched a pause comment feature to temporarily control comments on homemade videos. By introducing this feature, creators can temporarily prevent viewers from commenting on their videos for a period of time.

This makes controlling video comments easier than ever. Currently, comments on homemade videos can be completely blocked on YouTube. Comments can also be viewed and posted on YouTube.

With the launch of this new feature, creators can disable comments on videos at any time. The feature was introduced to free creators from the constraints of censoring audience comments.

This feature allows creators to easily temporarily disable comments on videos. At this point, viewers will be able to see previous comments on the video but will not be able to post their own comments. 

Enabling this feature will display four options in YouTube video comment controls: On, Comment Moderation, Pause, and Off. The new pause option can be found in the comment settings on the YouTube watch page.
