In September, Apple released the "iOS 17" operating system together with the new iPhone. Since then, the company has been at risk due to various flaws, including security flaws in its operating system.
They release updated versions of iOS every few days to fix this problem. Later, the “iOS 17.2” version was released on December 11. But after using the latest iOS version, many users complained that iPhone battery drained quickly.
The updated version of iOS includes several security fixes and adds translation functionality, contact key verification, 3D video recording, and action buttons to the Diary app. And many people have already started using the new version.
But some victims reported on the microblogging site X (Twitter) that their iPhone's battery drained quickly after downgrading from iOS 17.2. In response, one victim wrote, "I've already charged my iPhone twice." Another wrote, "I swear iOS 17.2 is killing my iPhone battery."
As usual, Apple had no immediate comment on the fact that iPhone batteries are draining faster in the latest iOS version. However, Adrian Kingsley, a researcher at technology website ZDNet, said that after downloading the new version, the iPhone's battery may consume more due to various tasks running in the background.
This problem usually lasts from a few hours to a few days.
