Employees of various organizations usually take accrued vacation at the end of the year. Many people are also taking longer vacations. In fact, office work sometimes has to be moved to remote areas; from there it is difficult to use the Internet.

In this case, you can't reply to urgent emails in Gmail. However, to avoid interruptions, use Gmail's Vacation Responder feature. This results in an automatic reply to the sender of the email within a specific time period.

The sender then knows that the email recipient is on vacation. Let’s see how to create automatic email replies in Gmail. Sign in to Gmail from your computer.

Click the Settings icon in the upper right corner and select All Settings. Scroll down to the "General" tab. In the "Holiday transponder" option, the "Holiday transponder on" option must be activated.

The start and end dates of the vacation should be determined. Enter a subject for the automatic email reply. Enter the subject of the email. Then scroll down and click on the "Save Changes" button. 

If you're accessing the Gmail app from your smartphone, you'll first need to tap the three-line menu in the upper left corner. Scroll down and select Settings.

Email must be selected. On the next page, scroll down and click "Automatic vacation reply." change. The start and end dates of the holiday must be specified.
