The augmented reality (AR) lens for Snapchat, a popular social media platform among the younger generation, will soon include ChatGPT. The information was announced at Lens Fest, ChatGPT maker OpenAI’s annual developer event. A beta tool, Lens Studio 5.0, was released for this feature.

Developers can add ChatGPT by creating filters in a new beta version of Lens Studio. ChatGPT answers questions about adding filters to AR lenses. At its sixth annual Lens Fest, Snapchat announced that any developer can now add ChatGPT functionality to their Lens. As a result, Snapchat users experience a new way of learning, conversation, and creativity.

Previously, Snapchat launched its own chatbot, “My AI,” which uses OpenAI’s ChatGPT. This allows users to easily apply artificial intelligence (AI) camera filters to their photos. Additionally, chatbots can be used to automatically exchange images. Chatbots based on artificial intelligence technology can also know the answers to various questions.

There is also an option to change the Bitmoji stickers to your liking. Additionally, Snapchat announced 3D face mask generator technology. This allows spectacle wearers to create their own expressions in seconds. There are currently about 330,000 developers on Snapchat’s AR platform, according to the company. 3.5 million lenses have been produced to date.
