Google's 'Bird' chatbot

Google's 'Bird' chatbot Google's 'Bird' chatbot

Last March, Google launched an AI-based chatbot called Bird (BARD). The chatbot uses Google's LAMDA (Language Model for Conversational Applications) technology to quickly answer any question in English. Additionally, it finds necessary information from various emails in your Gmail inbox and Google Docs.

Many people are interested in using chatbots. A group of cybercriminals are taking advantage of users' interests by using malware to create fake "Bird" apps and steal information. Google has issued a warning to users after discovering several such fake Bird apps. The company has also filed lawsuits in U.S. courts against various individuals or websites associated with promoting fake apps.

According to Google, no applications have yet been developed for the Bird chatbot. The chatbot can be used for free by visiting the Bird.google.com website. But a group of cybercriminals created multiple fake "Bird" apps. They also advertise through various websites like Facebook in an attempt to download these apps for free.

Even if the app is not downloaded by clicking on an ad, malware can enter the device. As a result, cybercriminals began collecting data from these devices remotely. These applications are available online under various names, including Google AI, AI Google Bird.
