WhatsApp has launched email verification feature to increase the security of user accounts. According to WhatsApp, the new feature will allow users to link their email address to their WhatsApp account. Even if the code sent by WhatsApp doesn't reach the phone for some reason, you can use your email address to verify your identity. This makes it possible to quickly recover lost accounts.

This feature will be available in WhatsApp version 23.24.70, which was originally developed for the iOS operating system. The facility will be gradually opened to all users. It is understood that to activate this new feature, you need to go to the account option in WhatsApp settings and add your phone number and email address.

For data protection reasons, WhatsApp does not display the email address to other users. This keeps user email address information secure. Since it does not activate automatically, users can disable this feature if desired. WhatsApp will also launch an alternate profile feature to enhance user privacy.

With the launch of this new feature, two profiles can be used on the same WhatsApp account instead of just one. This allows users to create separate profiles for strangers.
